Domicile rules

To claim Punjab state quota seats, candidates must satisfy PB domicile clauses: (a) born in Punjab with continuous residence and education, (b) parent is a Punjab state govt employee, (c) parent is a permanent resident of Punjab. Punjab Residence Certificate from Tehsildar is required at verification. Special category claims (Border Area / Riots-Affected / Terrorist-Affected / Freedom Fighter) need specific certifications from appropriate Punjab authority.
