Maharashtra NEET UG counselling.

Conducted by the State CET Cell, Mumbai. 85% of MBBS and BDS seats are allotted via state counselling; the remaining 15% feed into AIQ counselling run by MCC.

About the process

State-level admissions to MBBS and BDS seats in Maharashtra are managed by the Commissionerate of Common Entrance Test Cell, Mumbai. The entire counselling cycle runs online, and any candidate who has cleared NEET UG and meets the published eligibility norms can register and participate.

Registration happens through the CET Cell portal at cetcell.mahacet.org. NEET UG scores serve as the sole qualifying basis, so a valid NEET UG result is required to register for the state quota counselling.

State counselling controls 85% of MBBS and BDS seats at colleges located within Maharashtra. The remaining 15% are pooled into the All India Quota and allotted separately by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) through central counselling.
