Uttar Pradesh has only one Deemed Medical College, namely Santosh Medical College & Hospital in Ghaziabad. The institution was founded in 1996 under Santosh University, an NMC-recognised deemed university. Admission is purely via NEET-UG All India Rank routed through MCC counselling, with no state-quota pathway. The MBBS programme runs 5.5 years (4.5 academic plus 1 year internship) and admits 150 students annually. The attached 700+ bed teaching hospital handles a broad spread of specialty and super-specialty cases for clinical training.
