Government Medical Colleges: 1,520 state quota MBBS seats + 15% AIQ across 12 colleges, plus 100 ESIC seats (Bihta) and 125 AIIMS Patna seats.
Private Medical Colleges: 1,900 total MBBS seats across 12 colleges split into State Quota (50%), Management Quota (35%), and NRI Quota (15%) for most non-minority colleges.
Minority Private Colleges (Katihar, Madhubani, Mata Gujri Kishanganj) follow institutional minority allocation under Article 30 with separate state-quota cutoffs published for Muslim Minority and Sikh Minority quotas.
